Since motivation doesn’t last that long, you need to find ways of creating motivation in your life. Just like essential life activities like eating; motivation needs to be practiced regularly.

1. Have a morning routine
A great way of starting the day is with a positive, energizing morning routine. Your morning routine should be customized to your lifestyle, and help you get in the right mood for the rest of the day.

An act of power is an action that nobody is forcing you to do, that you choose to do of your own volition which makes your life better e.g. making your bed as soon as you wake up.
Doing an act of power as the first thing in the morning establishes that you’re in control, that you’re the one driving your life to success and you have the power and the ability to get things done.

3. Have a vision board
One of the easiest ways to motivate yourself is to see what you want. A vision board has images of things that you would like in your life. A vision board can be used for material goals as well as spiritual, health, romantic goals.

4. Write down affirmations
If you are suffering from a lack of motivation, writing down affirmations can help you focus on what you really want in your life.

5. Have measurable targets
It is difficult to achieve anything in life without knowing what you really want. Once you know specifically what you are aiming for, you will find that you can drive up enthusiasm for your goal more easily.
